Are you tired of having the same product images for your products as everybody else? Getting amazing images for drop shipping, ads, or e-commerce of any type is so easy right now with ChatGPT 4.5’s new image generation tool.
Let us show you some examples of how you can use this in your small business.
For starters, imagine you have a product like this chair below. It might just be a stock image directly from the manufacturer or a photo you took. It’s nice to have a focused product photo, yes, but it doesn’t always display great, and it needs to be presented well on a website or in an ad.
We uploaded this product image into ChatGPT 4.5. With a simple prompt, we told ChatGPT not to change the product image itself, but to place it in a beautiful craftsman setting. And this is what we got!

It’s perfect for a website, for running ads, anything like that. It looks like a stock photograph, the chair looks the same, and we’re ready to go.
Let’s see another example. This is a dog toy. If I upload that image into ChatGPT and tell it to put it in a nice setting, maybe with a little dog bed, you get this amazing result. Again, it’s perfect for ads:

Most importantly, when you create images this way, people can’t just go and search that image with Google Search and find it somewhere else. This uniqueness keeps your products a little bit more secure, so to speak, if you’re advertising. It makes it harder for price shoppers or competitors to easily find the exact source using a reverse image search.
However, this new functionality is not flawless. Take this rug for example – we wanted to place it in a beautiful craftsman style setting, and at first glance the result was outstanding:

But for anyone who’s looking for “spot the difference,” they’re going to know that’s not the same rug pretty quickly.
It’s not that consumers have problems with artistic renderings. We’ve come to expect it thanks to CAD renderings of interior designs being used for visualization or augmented reality rooms. But to lazily put this online as is wouldn’t garner any customer confidence. We would ask to generate this image again.
We have been impressed with image generation’s improvement with language as it’s no longer gibberish. But there’s still some work to do.
For example, this USB recover stick would be perfect except that the key placement on the keyboard is off.

On the other hand, these little weird things also ensure you’re not infringing on any copyright imagery.
